About the association

The public organization "All-Ukrainian Association 'Information Security and Information Technologies'" (hereinafter – the Organization, VAIBIT, ASSOCIATION) is a non-profit public organization that unites citizens on the basis of the common interests of its members for the protection of rights and freedoms, the satisfaction of public interests for the realization of the goals and objectives provided for by this Statute.

The full name of the Organization is the Public Organization "All-Ukrainian Association 'Information Security and Information Technologies'". The abbreviated name is PO "VAIBIT". The name in English – All-Ukrainian Association «Information Security and Information Technologies» The public organization "All-Ukrainian Association 'Information Security and Information Technologies'" is established and operates in accordance with the Constitution of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine "On Public Associations", other legislative acts and this Statute. The Organization is established and operates on the principles of voluntariness, equality of its members, self-governance, legality, electability and accountability of governing bodies, transparency, openness and publicity. The Organization acquires the rights of a legal entity from the moment of state registration in accordance with current legislation, has its own seal, stamps and letterheads with its own name, accounts, including in foreign currency at banking institutions, and its own symbols.

The symbols of VAIBIT are registered in the manner established by legislation. The activities of the public organization extend to the territory of Ukraine. Organizational and legal form: public organization. The Organization has the right, on its own behalf, to conclude agreements (transactions), acquire property and non-property rights, bear obligations, be a plaintiff and defendant in court, own funds and other property, and open accounts at banking institutions in national and foreign currency. In order to achieve its goals, the Organization has the right to conclude agreements on cooperation and/or mutual assistance with other public organizations (unions), foreign non-governmental organizations and international organizations in compliance with the legislation of Ukraine.
