Improvement of the regulatory and legal framework on electronic trust services

On August 21, 2019, representatives of entities in the field of electronic trust services gathered at the state enterprise "National Information Systems" to discuss issues of improving the regulatory and legal framework for electronic trust services and electronic identification. Among those present: representatives of state bodies, public organizations, qualified providers of electronic trust services, the EU project "Pravo-Justice," the USAID / UK aid project "Transparency and Accountability in Public Administration and Services" (TAPAS), and others. During the meeting, it was agreed to continue work on improving the legislation and to develop a draft of amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Electronic Trust Services." Experts proposed for discussion and suggestions the changes set out here (link). We ask everyone concerned to comment and get involved. The deadline for submitting proposals is September 22, 2019. Proposals and comments can be posted in the file with the text or sent to the email [email protected], after which all remarks will be analyzed and proposed for discussion by industry experts at PKI FORUM UA 2019 (link).
